Conrad has been doing magic for over 15 years and has been doing magic professionally for the past 8 years. Conrad works year round with magicians all over the New jersey area and at any given time can have upward to 15 students. His private lessons have been taught at Summer Camps, after school programs and event through Somerset County 4-H, just to name a few.
Conrad makes it easy by teaching tricks that require very little skill, as well as magic using everyday objects. Magic with playing cards, money, paper clips, ropes, and rubber bands are just part of the fun! Lessons typically run in one hour time blocks and are specially designed to fit a student's need and abilities, as well as motive then to achieve their own magic goals. |
Why Study Magic?

Magic is an ages old art from that dates back to before the ancient Egyptians. For examples, a popular magic effect called the Cups & Balls dates back to 2500 B.C and in the image to the left you can see it being performed in the year 1480. Not only does magic teach us to appreciate art but understand the importance of art in history.
Magic helps its students gain Confidence. Each magic trick is its own adventure, each involves learning, practicing, polishing and then performing in front of a live audience. This entire process once realized is a huge thrill and instills a real sense of self- confidence in students. Magic helps foster a Love Of Reading. As a magician grows, he or she will have to learn more and most of magic's great secrets are hidden in book. In the grander scheme of things magic helps improve one's Public Speaking skills. This one is the average persons biggest fear, yep that ranks above snakes and sharks! By learning and performing magic one's skills improve and the fear of public speaking can vanish and that's a real magic trick. |
