How far in advance should I book ENTERTAINMNET FOR MY PARTY?
Because I’m one of central NJ's only full time professional family entertainers bookings are recommended at least 2 months or more in advance. Weekend dates fill up quickly.
For the Holidays (Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween) many clients book 4 ‐ 6 months in advance.
If your event is less than a month away, I’ll try hard to accommodate you and often can. Don't delay in reaching out to see if your date is available.

When is a good time to start the magic show?
A good general rule of thumb is to have the show begin about a half hour after the party is to begin. This prevents distractions from late arriving guests. For example, if your party begins at 3:00 PM, I would recommend scheduling the show for 3:30 PM in order to allow for late guests to not miss the beginning of the performance.
On average, most birthdays I attend are scheduled for 2-3 hours. This allows for enough time to watch the show, sing Happy Birthday, open presents and perhaps play a quick game or two.

How does CONRAD's SHOW differ from other magicians?
There are many local entertainers to choose from, but few that are full-time professionals, and even fewer that specialize only in entertaining families. YES, their are plenty of performers who can get a group of kids riled up and screaming for 45 minutes straight but it that what you really want? It sounds like a headache, and that's why you need a family entertainment specialist.

Your child will be the star of the day. They will be included in the show and have lots of fun, memories, and laughs.

How much space is needed to set up the show?
My performance and equipment have been designed to be adaptable to a variety of performing situations. I realize every setting is different, and it is my goal to provide minimum disruption in performing at your residence or other venue. Generally, an area about 6' x 6' is ideal with an area in front of that for audience seating. Nothing in the show is messy, can spill, or involves fire which could damage your home.
Indoors or outdoors?
A controlled environment, and subsequently, a better performance and more focused audience. Indoor environments are preferred as it allows party gust to be more comfortable. I am flexible however and the show can be adapted for various preforming environments.
I can perform outdoors, in your backyard, park, or other area, weather permitting. Shows are booked rain or shine so an indoor back up plan is always recommended for any booked events.

What needs to be provided for the show?
I know on the day of your party you will have a lot to do, that is why I arrive completely self-contained. I bring all the tables and other equipment necessary for the show. All I need is an outlet for electricity and an appropriate space to hold the show & audience.
You can help by saving a parking space close to a door, and give access through a door with the fewest steps possible. This makes it much easier for me to unload the equipment I’ll bring to your party. If you do save a spot it is IMPORTATNT that the spot not be blocked. Often I have more than one event per day and I most likely will need to leave the part before your other guest.

Can you really keep the kids entertained for the whole time?
Yes, this is what I do best. I know exactly how to maintain control of the audience, keep their attention, and make sure they are entertained the entire time. After thousands of shows I know exactly what works and have the skills and experience to keep any group of kids & adults-no matter what the age group or how excited they are--entertained and amazed.
May we videotape and/or take photos?
Yes, of course! There are plenty of great photo and video opportunities during the show. Many priceless memories can be captured.
Can or SHOULD we serve the kids food, snacks, and beverages during Conrad's show?
It is a HUGE distraction for the kids. Not only eating the snack but then the serving of it and cleaning up that takes place. At this age, kids need the least amount of distractions possible. So, it is HIGHLY recommended that you NOT serve goodies during
the performance also because it is a show based on audience interaction and participation, I need their hands to be free.

Can we book CONRAD to entertain our children in one room while all of the adults hang out in another room?
Due to liability issues, it is required that all of the children be supervised at all times by at least one responsible adult (in addition to me).
Plus, it will be more fun for the adults to be in on the fun. There are plenty of photo ops during the show so you will enjoy watching the kids have fun.

How is payment handled? check?, Credit Cards, CASH? Is a deposit required?
You may pay by cash, check, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express), whichever you prefer.
When you book your event you'll pay 50% of your total event cost to lock in your booking slot. Your due balance is due on the day of your event.

Are there any party favors included?
There are party favors included with some of the program options. The vast majority of the birthday clients I work with choose to have a combination of magic and balloon art. This way their party guest get to leave with an incredible balloon creation and the amazing memories made at the party!

In the case of an event cancelation, the client's reservation fee will be held and moved toward their next booked event.
If cancelation occurs on the client's end, clients will have up to 365 days to reschedule their event (dependent on the performer's schedule and availability). In case of severe weather, riots, acts of god, or government lock-down, etc. the client and performer will work together to decide on a proper course of action and possible delay or cancelation of the show.
Please note that any risk of bad weather for outdoor events is borne entirely by the client, and that cancellations due to bad weather are still subject to the full fee. If you are planning an outdoor party, an alternate indoor location is highly recommended.
